Looking to stay fit, and perhaps sharpen your skills for next season? Why not get involved in the OPFC netrugby team? "What’s netrugby?" I hear you cry.. Put simply, it’s a 10-a-side game (with rolling subs), where you can move the ball in any direction, but you can also tackle from any direction and the objective is to score in a big basket at the end of the pitch. OPFC are entering a team into the Netrugby league that takes place on Wednesday or Thursday nights on Clapham Common. Games start around 7pm, and the pitches are very close to Clapham South tube, so it’s easy enough to get to. Anyway, if you’re interested in being part of the squad and playing the odd game please contact Coxy by e mail or call him on 07841 715247 Equally, if Clapham South seems a long way away from you, there is going to be some touch rugby at the club in Thames Ditton from 7pm on Wednesdays as of 12th May 2010.
