OPFC 2011 Chile and Argentina Tour |
 |
Posted on Friday, March 19 @ 16:34:04 BST by jacksonc |

As you know we are planning a two week tour to Chile and Argentina for the end of next season.
Proposed itinerary is as follows:
- Thurs 28th April – fly to Santiago
- Sunday 1st May – 1st match
- Wed 4th May - 2nd Match
- Thurs 5th May – bus ride across the Andes to Mendoza in Argentina
- Sat 7th May – 3rd Match
- Sunday 8th May – internal flight to Buenos Aires
- Tues 10th or Wed 11th May – flight back to London
There will be lots of activities organised on the in between days – e.g. Gaucho treks, wine tasting, charitable activity helping the local community etc.
Approx cost is expected to be around £900 depending on degree of subsidy / sponsorship we can pull together.
This is a massive organisational effort for us, and the tour will only go ahead if we have “critical mass” (i.e. 20 – 25 people) signed up by standing order form for tour (11 x £75 monthly payments from 1st May 2010) and £100 deposit paid by Mid April i .e. in one months time.
That is 4- 5 players per team. Our overall target is to take 40 plus people - but if you do not sign up now, and fill in the form we won't have critical mass and the tour will not happen – very simple.
Please print and fill in this online form and:
- Give back to you team rep on Saturday
or
- Send to Tim Rogers – per details in form
or
- Set up yourself with those details via online banking (with your name as the reference) and let your team rep know (i.e. e mail them a screen print).
Thanks
The 2011 tour Committee and team reps
(John Howard, Tom Shillaker, Tim Radcliffe, Jonno Barrett, Maxi, Crawsh, Chris Jackson, Paddy King, Daniel Powell)
