Tournament Report by The Winners - Team Hoff

“Some people stand in the darkness, afraid to step into the light”…

…This was most certainly not the case on this glorious day at Ditton Cove. The door was flung open and out galloped (in slow mo) our heroes, led by Hoff Hoff, followed by Hoff-Ed, PK Hoff, Hoff Harrison, Quick&Ripped Hoff, Hoff-pert, Hoff-Johnson, Hoff-Thompson, Jewish Hoff and finally the (Adams) apple of all our eyes.. the sensuous pa-me-la.

It was a sight to behold and the other teams competing in the annual beach flex-off tourno were in awe. The sun beamed down on our heroes and those who came to watch knew they were in for some hot action.

Merit League Game

Match report by Sam Lawrence

A fantastic win against 2nd placed Chobham ended a brilliant league campaign for the Pumas as they faced their last league game as a team before the club has a small restructure.

The Pumas were helped by a truly amazing turn out of support from friends and family and it was very much appreciated and helped make a great day.

OPFC ANNUAL DINNER SATURDAY 26TH APRIL 2008

NewsAnnual OPFC Dinner

Roll up roll up, the annual OPFC dinner is nearing ever closer.

Saturday 26th April

The dinner will be at TD, post the annual 7s competition

Partners welcome, so check with Doris

Approx cost £25 per head.

Player of the season and various other awards will be dished out to the deserving, including the highly revered Christopher Henry Lewis Clark award.

Ali, our OPFC club captain will have to give a speech and we will all crack the gag about him having to "stand up" on account of the collarboneless hobbit's lack of stature. You know the drill. Chances are a member of the Clark family will start singing at some point. And there will probably be that song about Cunis too - "na na na na hey hey etc".

Let your captain know ASAP if you and yours can attend, and be sure that a good time will be had by all....

Marvellous!

Merit Table Match

Saturday 26th January

In Barnes the geese fly low, so low o’erhead
All o’er the pitch their efflux taints the ground.
It makes one yearn for Ditton’s land instead
With pastures green and pleasant all around.
